This position will primarily support market analysis and research work. Additional projectssupporting marketing activities related to the introduction of new products and applications are possible. Specificprojects include the analysis of primary and secondary research reports, harmonizing data from various sources andmodeling data so that segmentation is possible (for example, by region, by product and by customer application). Requires the ability to to do careful analytical work, but also requires the ability to data-mine and see the "big picture". Candidate is required to have strong individual initiative and ability to handle complex tasks coordinating among various groups within the HQs organization and in regional marketing teams (via phone and email). Should understand basics of marketing and have above average verbal and written skills. Requires expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (especially macros and formulas) as well as at least one programming language. Experience in Visual Basic programming preferred. Will accept bachelor's and master's level candidates and tailor workload accordingly. Prefer someone graduating this year.
